The SCS Alumni Association is a “bridge” between past, present, and future generations of SCS students. Our mission is to provide a source of additional funding to enhance the academic, spiritual and overall wellbeing of students attending Springfield Catholic Schools while perpetuating the memory and spirit as well as upholding the ideals and traditions of Springfield Catholic Schools.
The Alumni Association Good Samaritan Fund

The SCS Alumni Association is proud to support the Good Samaritan Fund! This fund was created to benefit current Springfield Catholic High School students who are experiencing a specific, urgent, financial need. Funds are to be used at the discretion of the Springfield Catholic High School Principal, who will also maintain distribution records. This fund will be supported through voluntary donations from our Springfield Catholic Alumni Association. Records of the fund’s distributions will be kept anonymous, while allowing the impact to be shared with Alumni Association donors.
One of the hallmarks of the Springfield Catholic School System is that anyone who wishes to attend Springfield Catholic Schools, should be able to, regardless of their financial situation. On occasion, students will approach administration with a pressing need. For example, the student doesn’t have gas money to get to school, or money for food for the weekend, or needs uniforms, etc. The goal of this fund is to help meet those financial needs and relieve the student's financial stress, allowing them to focus on being a student.
This fund offers the Springfield Catholic Alumni Association the opportunity to help our future alumni obtain the same benefits of a Catholic education at Springfield Catholic High School that they received.
